What Kind of Toothbrush Should I Use?

We always recommend that our patients should use a soft-bristled toothbrush. Anything harder is detrimental to the health of the oral cavity. Firm bristles may cause trauma to the roots of the teeth or the gum tissue and may cause recession. Early development of plaque and bacteria on the teeth is soft and does not require firm bristles to be thoroughly removed.
